1) DECIDE ON THE BUSINESS MODEL

The very first thing you’ll need to decide is just what kind of online entity or business you want to be involved with. You might decide to develop your own product, though if you’re just starting

have limited space, and your free web hosting company will typically have advertising on your site to support its business. But as you are just starting out, you will not need very much space. And the good thing is that as you grow, you can always upgrade to the paid version of your hosting to remove advertising banners on your site.

3) GET AN AUTORESPONDER

Once you have your website, you’ll need an autoresponder. An autoresponder will help you keep in touch with your subscribers with automatic, pre-determined by you follow-up messages. With the free version of a good autoresponder, you’ll have to deal with company advertising once again. But remember, just as before,

when you start earning money, you can always upgrade to remove the company sponsored advertising with your own.

4) DRIVE TRAFFIC

With the website and autoresponder set up, the next thing you’ll need to focus on is getting traffic to your site. This is where the bulk of your attention will fall. My absolute favorite method of free marketing is via article writing and forum participation. Article writing and submission will require that you write articles about the product or service which you are promoting, and then submitting them to the various article directories. By providing them with content, they will in turn, provide you with free traffic. It works out pretty nicely. Now

remember with article writing, you get what you put into it. So make sure you write quality articles everyday for submission.
